What is the Bible?

The Bible is actually a collection of books. The word "Bible" comes from "Biblia" meaning; "the book" or "books/scrolls." In ancient times "books" were actually scrolls. Later, scrolls were divided into pages, bound, and called "books." This collection of books was and is considered to be inspired by God. The Bible records the creation of all things; the historical relationship between the God of creation and humans. It is the ultimate guidebook to understanding proper love, justice, morality, and is even a "how to" manual for a higher quality, successful, and healthier life. It taught scientific principles that modern science is beginning to catch up with only recently; it taught the world was round thousands of years before scientists could accept it; it teaches of other dimensions, that scientists and quantum physicist are beginning to explore. It is the "not missing" manual for humans, relationships, and multi-dimensional realities. It teaches healing and growth for the mind, body, and soul. It teaches you to have a higher quality of life now and forever.

The Bible teaches us how to live in this very short and temporary life within this world. When your body dies, falls off, and decays into dirt; where will you go? The Bible teaches us about some of the dimensions ahead of us. It teaches us how to live forever in a far better dimension, and not be fooled into dropping into dimensions of hell far worse than this worldly dimension we live in now. To be responsible for thoughts and actions. How to have power over our own lives, based on proper love of our Creator, self and others. We all, (except the most delusional of our species), know and feel inside that there is more to life than our existence in this body. We all know not so deep inside: we will continue to exists in an after-life dimension.

If you meet people who try to convince themselves or you that the soul and afterlife don't exist; just take a closer look at their lives; are their beliefs working? You will find they are slaves of denial, self-deception, deception of others, and delusions that control and dominate most or all areas of their lives and beliefs. If one can deceive themselves and others on nearly every aspect of life; should you follow them or believe in them? Look at their results; denial and deception does not work. If the devil is the father of lies; then liars are his children. Don't follow those who continually fail to find real happiness, peace, real love, good relationships, or a good life. Search for and think about truth for yourself. Consider, but don't follow, advice of others; test it, look at results, filter their beliefs through the words of God; and make what is true your beliefs. The Bible has proven itself over time. The laws and concepts about love in the Bible are given to us as filters for what is right and wrong. Later you will learn why these "rules" are not laws of bondage limiting us, but are expressions of love freeing us from chains and limitations. No one can be perfect by their own power, but goals are provided for you to know what direction you are traveling; towards God or away from Him. The words of God teach you where you have been; where you are now; and where you will be going.

There are many proofs of the Bible we will look at later and many truths you will find in your heart for yourself. I believe that if one really wants to know the truth, even above their own truths and pride; they will find the true God. No one need to be pushy or try to force them; real truth seekers who value real truth above all other people's opinions, ideas, and attention will find the real God. If one values the attention and false, temporary, affections of people around them more than life; they have chosen to never know true love. real truth, the meaning of life, nor the real God. Don't continue to live in darkness; choose to walk into more light in your life; here and for eternal life. Again, the real question is not "if" you will live forever; it is "where" will you live forever.
